David immediately sat up on the bed, knelt, and raised his hand to swear,"Sarah. I swear I didn't lie to you. Your friend is right, I am indeed investing in a company. The investment amount is $500 million."

Hearing this amount, Sarah didn't show much surprise. David cóntinued, "Sarah, listen to me. The $500 million isn't actually mine. The investor isn't me but a very good friend of mine. His wife is facing serious financial problems, and her company is on the verge of bankruptcy. My friend wants to help his wife, but his wife hates him. So he asked me to act as the investor. This way, his wife won't refuse the help."

Sarah looked at David and said, "You know, after hearing you talk about these things, I thought it was a plot from a novel. It's hard to imagine this happening in real life."

David shot back, "I swear, I'm not lying to you."

Sarah gently stroked David's cheek and said, "Don't worry, I believe you.I just didn't expect something so dramatic to happen to you. I can't wrap my head around why your friend won't divorce his wife. From what you said, it sounds like their relationship is a mess. So, his wife must want out.right? Why doesn't he just agree? Wouldn't it be better for him to find someone he actually loves and get married?"

David lay back down beside Sarah,gently placed her head in the crook of his arm, held her, and kissed her forehead lightly. He said nervously."Sarah, can we not talk about others for now? Do you really love me? Have you really decided to be with me?"

Sarah gave him a bright smile.

She gently tapped David's nose with her right index finger, kissed his lips,and said with a smile, "David, you're so handsome and have such a great personality.How can you be so insecure? I've already told you I like you.How could I be lying?"

Still a bit on edge. David asked, "Sarah, you really want to be with me.right? You're not doing it for any óther reason,are you?"

Sarah laughed when she heard this and said, "Of course. I'm with you because I love you. What else? Do you think I'm after your money? You're not richer than I am! Don't worry! If you ever run out of money, just come to me. I can take care of you."

David held Sarah tighter and whispered, "Thank you."

Soon,the two young bodies intertwined once more.

In the end, both were drenched in sweat. David picked Sarah up from the bed and gently placed her in the double bathtub in the bathroom.

David stepped into the bathtub with his long legs.
