Chapter 337: Chapter 337

Sophia's fingers trembled, nearly dropping her phone.

"Are you insane? That's illegal!" Her voice was hushed but shaking.

Ethan tapped the table with long fingers, amusement flashing in his eyes. "Worried about me?"

"What do you think?" She gripped his sleeve. "A scumbag like Raymond Stone isn't worth the risk. Seeing Diana and her accomplices punished is enough for me."

He chuckled lowly, brushing his thumb over her tense lips.

"The autonomous driving system has a fatal flaw." Ethan idly twirled a lock of her hair. "Raymond loves taking his million-dollar sports car fishing."

Sophia's pupils contracted.

"With some adjustments on specific routes..." His fingertip traced a circle on her palm. "A computer obeys better than a human brain."

She immediately searched on her phone.

As expected, autonomous vehicle accidents had surged in the past three years.

"This..." Her throat tightened. "It's too dangerous."

Ethan's gaze turned icy.

"Aunt Grace lost her mind for twenty years. We were separated for thirteen." He gripped her chin. "Raymond will pay in blood."

Sophia suddenly buried herself in his chest.

Breathing in his crisp cedar scent, she muttered, "Just this once."

"As you wish, Mrs. Sullivan." He nipped her earlobe.

Morning light filtered through the sheer curtains, casting dappled shadows over their entwined figures.

Sophia abruptly pushed him onto the sofa.

"Suddenly I think..." Her finger trailed down his throat. "My husband looks especially tempting today."

Ethan laughed darkly. "At your service."

She straddled him, deftly unbuttoning his shirt.

The curtains billowed like ocean waves.

Over an hour later, Sophia lay panting against his chest.

Ethan stroked the pink corners of her eyes. "Mrs. Sullivan's skills have improved remarkably."

"Credit to the teacher." She nuzzled his neck lazily.

That afternoon, Victor arrived unannounced.

"Old Theodore is critically injured." He lingered at the foyer. "He wants to see you."

Sophia scoffed. "Too much free time?"

"He's your biological father!"

"Ha!" Her grip tightened around the teacup. "He was screwing his sister-in-law while my brother lay dying! Remarried less than two weeks after my mother went mad!"

Victor staggered back half a step.

"Mention him again..." Sophia grabbed the celadon vase from the coffee table. "I'll gladly remind you how a cracked skull feels."

The old fox fled in panic.

VIP hospital room.

Isabella wept prettily. "Dad, Mom admits her mistakes..."

"Let her kneel for seven days and nights." Theodore closed his eyes. "Or I'll divorce her."

Victoria's shriek erupted through the phone.

"That old bastard!" she screamed. "I want him dead! Now!"
