Jenna Roland's gaze turned razor-sharp, piercing straight through Xenia's heart.
Xenia stumbled half a step back under that glare.
Then she straightened, thinking of her wailing son in the hospital bed. "I said you were raised without a mother's guidance! Your brother broke my son's leg. You owe me an explanation today!"
Jenna smirked. "Ethan has both parents, yet he still bites like a rabid dog. Auntie, do you know liars get their tongues ripped out in hell?"
Xenia paled. "How dare you!"
"I said your son needs discipline for his filthy mouth." Jenna narrowed her eyes. "If you don't teach him, next time I'll knock out every tooth in his head."
Zoe lunged forward, claws out. "You little bitch!"
Jenna sidestepped with disdain. "Old hag, touching you would dirty my hands. When you die, the devil will settle your debts."
Zoe trembled with rage, her bony fingers shaking.
Ethan Roscente observed with crossed arms, amusement flickering in his eyes.
Xenia shrieked, "Everyone knows you work as an escort! How dare you act so high and mighty with that dirty money?"
Jenna calmly pulled out her phone. "The police station has surveillance footage. Inspector Cole, what's the penalty for defamation?"
Inspector Cole cleared his throat. "We'd need concrete evidence."
Jenna turned to her brother. "Milo, did your classmates hear Ethan spreading rumors?"
Milo nodded. "Ryan recorded it."
Xenia's face turned ashen.
Jenna waved her phone. "With Inspector Cole as witness, this woman just committed public defamation. I can provide employment records anytime. Now—who's apologizing?"
The surveillance camera's red light blinked silently.
