Chapter 138: Chapter 138

Jenna's instincts told her there was more to the story.

The corner of Jenna's lips curled into a faint smile. "Alright, then. Wendy, Tony, it's getting late. We should head out."

"Be careful on your way home," Wendy said, turning to Tony. "See them out, will you?"

"Of course." Tony stood and escorted Jenna and Milo to the door.

Standing on the villa's front steps, Tony asked, "How did you get here? Did you drive?"

"We took a cab," Jenna replied, pulling her coat tighter.

Tony immediately called his driver.

Within ten minutes, Charlie arrived with the car.

Tony watched until the siblings were safely inside before returning indoors.

The moment Jenna stepped into her apartment, her phone rang.

"Did you make it home?" Tony's voice came through the receiver.

"Just got in." Jenna collapsed onto the couch, exhaustion washing over her. She stifled a yawn.

"Tired?" Tony caught the sound instantly.

"A little." She rubbed her eyes. "You didn't call just to check if I got home, did you?"

A low chuckle sounded on the other end. "You know me too well. I wanted to ask—what did Wendy talk to you about in the kitchen?"

Jenna's gaze sharpened. Just as she'd suspected.

"She asked if there were other women in your life." Jenna didn't mince words.

"What did you say?" Tony's tone grew tense.

"I said no." Her voice turned icy. "Tony, Wendy treats you so well, and she's pregnant. You shouldn't be messing around. Do you have any idea how devastated she'd be if she found out?"

Silence stretched between them.

"I understand," Tony finally said. "I promise I won't betray her trust again."

"Remember your words." Jenna emphasized each syllable. "Don't agree with me now only to go running back to Fiona Valrose."

"Don't worry. Get some rest. Goodnight."

She hung up and went straight to bed.

When she woke, it was already 4 PM.

Since starting at Studio 54, her sleep schedule had shifted dramatically. Back at her uncle's place, six hours had been enough. Now she needed at least eight, or she'd feel groggy all day.

Yawning, Jenna stepped out of her room to find Milo counting red envelopes on the couch.

"How much?" she asked with a smile.

His eyes sparkled. "Twelve grand! They're really generous."

Remembering how Tony splurged at the club, Jenna scoffed. "He's got money to burn, that's for sure."
