Chapter 210: Chapter 210

Jenna Roland had just announced her divorce when Victor Roland let out a piercing sneer.

"I knew this would happen!" He shot her a sideways glance. "What wealthy man would ever want a woman like you?"

Jenna clenched her fists, her nails digging deep into her palms.

She forced herself not to react.

Victor's disdainful gaze cut through her like a blade.

Just then, his phone rang.

"What?" he answered impatiently.

Fiona Roland's excited voice came through. "Victor, remember Daisy Dimucci?"

"That fat woman?" Victor frowned. "What about her?"

Fiona lowered her voice. "She knows a wealthy businessman looking for pretty girls to spend the night with. If it's their first time, he pays eighty thousand!"

Victor's head snapped toward Jenna.

She was bent over weeding the vegetable garden, her slender waist catching the sunlight.

"Eighty thousand?" He swallowed hard. "You're sure?"

"Absolutely!" Fiona urged. "Jenna's so beautiful—he might pay even more!"

Victor's greedy eyes locked onto Jenna's back.

"She'd never agree," he muttered.

"That's why we need a plan!" Fiona insisted. "Be nice to her these next few days. Don't let her suspect anything."

Hanging up, Victor immediately plastered on a smile.

"Jenna," he cooed, approaching her. "Your aunt won big at mahjong. She's treating us to lunch."

Jenna didn't look up. "Milo's going to a friend's house."

"Then we'll bring him something delicious," Victor said eagerly.

Jenna eyed him suspiciously.

Her usually cruel uncle's sudden warmth set off alarm bells in her mind.

At eleven, Fiona called again.

"Reservation's ready. Let's go." Victor hung up, rubbing his hands together.

Jenna followed in silence.

In the parking lot, Victor opened the car door for her. "Ride with me."

After a pause, Jenna slid inside.

The black sedan pulled away, heading toward an unknown destination.
