Chapter 386: Chapter 386

"So you agree?" Milo's eyes lit up.

Jenna crossed her arms. "I'll sponsor him, but he has to pay me back."

With her current financial stability, funding Ryan's education wasn't an issue.

In the past, she would never have made such an offer.

Milo pouted. "Sponsorship means free money. Who asks for repayment?"

Jenna flicked his forehead. "Do I look like a money printer? Tell him I'll only cover his senior year if he agrees to repay me."

"What about living expenses?"

She rubbed her temples. Ryan was still hospitalized and couldn't work summer jobs. Winter break was his only option.

"After discharge, he can work at my stall—$100 per day. He'll earn $1,500 before school starts. Weekends at $100 for two days. You chip in occasionally, and he'll make it to graduation."

Milo gave a thumbs-up. "You're the best, sis!"

Jenna scoffed. "Only because he helped you and deserves pity..."

"Once he gains experience, he could start a small business after college. With luck, he might even become a boss."

"If he strikes it rich, he'll repay you tenfold!"

"Enough chatter!" She poked his forehead. "Watch the stall. I need the restroom."

"Got it!" Milo grinned.

At 3 PM Wednesday, Ethan stopped by the stall.

Coincidentally, urban management officers were conducting inspections.

They frantically loaded garments onto the e-tricycle.

After outrunning the officers, Jenna grinned ear to ear. "Thrilling, huh?"

Ethan sighed. "Being chased by authorities is an achievement?"

"Adrenaline rush! They'd have confiscated everything."

"Why not open a proper store?"

"Street vending earns more." She shook her head.

Returning later, they found the officers gone and reset their remaining merchandise.

"Join me for wholesale shopping tomorrow?" Jenna asked abruptly.

Ethan frowned. He had an important international conference in the morning.

"We leave at 6:30 AM," she added.

"That early?"

"Latecomers get leftovers." She winked.

Rubbing his temples, he relented. "Fine."
