Chapter 448: Chapter 448

Jenna's fingers clenched the edge of the blanket, her knuckles turning white.

The weight of Ethan's true identity crushed her chest like a boulder, making it hard to breathe. CEO of HM Group? The mastermind behind a billion-dollar empire?

She suddenly found it laughable.

"Jenna..."

"Get out." Her voice was ice. "I need to rest."

Ethan remained motionless by the bed. Moonlight seeped through the curtains, casting shadows across his sharp features.

"I said get out!" She hurled a pillow at him.

It grazed his shoulder and landed on the floor. He picked it up silently and placed it back on the bed.

"We'll talk tomorrow." He turned and left, the door clicking shut behind him.

Jenna stared at the ceiling, tears sliding down her temples.

Ethan's car sped through the night. The dashboard's blue glow highlighted his tense jawline. The steering wheel creaked under his grip.

The Roscente mansion blazed with lights.

"What's happened at this hour?" Benjamin descended the stairs in his robe, Grace close behind.

Grandpa Harrison emerged from the elevator, his expression stormy. "This better be important."

Ethan stood in the center of the living room, his voice rough. "Jenna wants a divorce."

The air froze.

Grandma Blanche nearly dropped her teacup. "What?"

"She knows I'm HM Group's CEO." He loosened his tie. "Thinks I've been deceiving her."

Grace gasped. "Yvonne told her?"

Ethan nodded.

Grandpa Harrison's cane struck the floor with a crack. "I warned you the truth would come out!"

"Enough recriminations!" Grandma Blanche wrung her hands. "We'll go explain tomorrow."

Ethan's phone lit up. A location notification from Jenna—City Hall.

"No time." His voice tightened. "She wants to meet at nine tomorrow morning."

Benjamin frowned. "Calm down first. We can—"

"How can I calm down?" Ethan's voice rose before he forcibly reined it in. "Sorry."

Grace squeezed his shoulder. "Rest first. We'll go with you tomorrow."

At 5 AM, Ethan finally closed his eyes. His dreams were filled with Jenna's retreating figure.
