Chapter 324: Chapter 323

I Wasn't Joking About Calling The Police

"Fine."

Alexander's voice was dangerously calm. "If you refuse to cooperate, we'll let the police handle this. The hotel's security system will show us everything. We can review the footage and see the truth for ourselves."

His gaze shifted pointedly to the small camera discreetly mounted in the corner of the private room.

Rebecca's composure shattered into pure panic. She wrung her hands, her mind racing for an escape. After a brief internal struggle, her defiance evaporated. "Wait! I admit it!" she blurted out, her voice shaking. "It was me! There's no need for the police! I took Evelyn's phone. I sent you that message pretending to be her. I just wanted to cause trouble for her."

Alexander's tone turned to ice. "And what exactly did you hope to accomplish?"

Under his piercing stare, Rebecca seemed to shrink. "I... I just wanted you to come here and humiliate her in front of everyone. I never thought it would go this far..."

Her voice faded, the outcome a stark contrast to her malicious plan. She had wanted to embarrass Evelyn, but her scheme had backfired spectacularly. She never imagined Alexander Blackwood was a force she couldn't challenge.

Lucas gasped in shock. "Rebecca, how could you do something so low?"

"We always thought you were just a bit spiteful, but this..."

"This is disgusting! If she'd steal a phone and send fake messages today, what poisonous rumor will she spread about one of us tomorrow?"

"Evelyn never did anything to you, yet you target her relentlessly. It's just cruel."

"We don't want you here. Get out. Don't ever come back."

"Just leave. No one wants you around."

The chorus of voices demanding her expulsion grew louder. Humiliation burned hot on Rebecca's cheeks.

Overwhelmed, she couldn't take anymore. Clenching her jaw in a mix of fury and shame, she spat out, "Fine! I'm leaving! You don't have to throw me out—I can walk out on my own!"

With a final flash of defiance, she turned to storm out.

But as she moved toward the door, Alexander gave a subtle nod. His security team immediately blocked her path.

"You bullied my wife," Alexander stated, his voice firm and leaving no room for argument. "Did you honestly believe you could just walk away from that? I told you I wasn't joking about calling the police."

He raised his hand in a decisive gesture. "Take her to the station. It's time she faced the consequences for her actions."

His words hit Rebecca like a physical blow.

Her composure shattered completely.

She gasped, collapsing to the floor in a daze.

The chaos she had created swirled around her.

"I did nothing wrong!" Rebecca shrieked, her voice frantic.

She flung her arms out wildly. "You can't send me to the police!"

Her screams cut through the tense air.

The spectacle of her meltdown drew varied reactions.

Some former classmates watched with open disgust.

Others couldn't hide their relief.

Rebecca was clearly spiraling.

Serious consequences now seemed inevitable.

Despite her struggles, Alexander's men were firm.

They gripped her arms tightly.

They escorted her from the private room without hesitation.

A heavy silence fell after her removal.

The atmosphere grew thick with unease.

People exchanged nervous glances.

Their eyes avoided Alexander.

No one had openly supported Rebecca or Anastasia against Evelyn.

But their silence had been telling.

They now understood Alexander's true power.

Fear spread through the group.

They worried they might be targeted next for their inaction.

The urge to leave became overwhelming.

One classmate broke the silence awkwardly.

He cleared his throat. "I should probably get going."

He pushed his chair back nervously. "It's getting late."
