Chapter 30: Chapter 30

Ella had been wandering around the Raymond estate for only a short while when a server approached her.

"Ms. Brooks, Mrs. Raymond's cough、has worsened significantly. Could you please come with me? She's asking for you."

Ella didn't recognize this server, but given the urgency of the situation, she followed without hesitation.

The server led her through the estate to an unfamiliar area-a storage room in the back courtyard.

As they approached, Ella sensed something wasn't right.

Her instincts told her she needed to leave immediately.

But it was too late.

The server suddenly produced a syringe and lunged for her neck.

Ella reacted instantly, stepping back and grabbing the server's wrist.

"Who sent you?" she demanded, her grip firm.

In one swift movement, she wrestled the syringe from his hand and, with lightning reflexes, plunged it into his neck.

The server collapsed, unconscious.

Ella stood over him, looking down coldly.

She nudged him with her foot, but he remained unresponsive.

Confirming he was truly unconscious, she realized that whoever wainted to harm her at Karen's birthday party would likely make another move.

Ella dragged the server's body into the sorage room, then stepped outside and concealed herself in the shadows.

Within minutes, she observed a group of people being led toward the storage room.

"I just saw Ella walking with a server, and they seemed very close. Austin.do you think she might be in trouble?" Judith clung to Austin's arm, her voice filled with concern.

"Maybe they're having sex in there," someone suggested crudely.

"Don't be ridiculous. This is Karen's birthday party," another voice reprimanded.

"Her scandals have been all over social media lately. Who knows how many affairs she's had by now?"

"Remember that gala when she threw a drink on Judith? She still hasn't paid for the ruined dress. I guess the rumors are true. She's not the innocent person she pretends to be."

"Amazing how someone so young and beautiful could be so manipulative."

As the conversation grew increasingly hostile, more people began to suspect Ella.

The situation worsened when Judith dramatically ran to Austin, crying that she had seen Ella with a mysterious man.

Everyone recalled how Ella had been socializing with various men earlier,

and suspicions grew that she might be brazenly cheating on Austin rignt under his nose.

Austin's expression darkened dangerously, his face radiating an icy coldness that threatened to erupt at any moment.

"Austin, what if Ella is really doing something immoral? What will you do?" Judith asked, her voice trembling.

Margaret appeared from nowhere and shouted, "What else can be done?Divorce! Our Raymond family will never tolerate such a woman!"

Austin remained silent, his expression stormy as he stared at the storage room door.

Taking his silence as embarrassment, Judith assumed he was mortified by the possibility of his wife being caught in the act of infidelity in front of so many guests.

She smiled inwardly, thinking that if they caught Ella red-handed today,Austin would surely divorce her.

Judith walked confidently toward the storage room door and pulled it open, with the crowd following closely behind.

Austin stood motionless, his gaze fixed intently on the storage room, his thoughts unreadable.

"Judith, who's in there with Ella? How dare she cheat on Austin right here at the estate?" Margaret demanded, her words cut short.

From the shadows. Ella emerged. "Mother, were you looking for me?"

Margaret jumped in shock, turning to face Ella with a gasp. "Why are you

here?"

Austin's eyes immediately found Ella, hs penetrating gaze cutting through her like a blade.

Ella instinctively pressed her lips together, noticing what seemed to be a flicker of relief crossing Austin's face.

Had he been worried she might actually be inside?

He was concerned about losing his male pride if she were caught cheating.

Ella gave a bitter half-smile.

"What's going on here?" Austin finally spoke.

Yet he didn't address the person who had brought everyone rushing to the storage room.

Instead, he questioned Ella, the innocent victim.

Surveying the crowd, Ella's sharp gaze swept across the onlookers gathered around the storage room, finally settling on Judith.

Judith's fingers had turned white as she clutched her palm, her entire body trembling. "I swear I saw you walking with a man toward this area."

"You mean the server who tried to drug me with this syringe?" Ella revealed everything, explaining the situation to the gathered crowd.

The crowd erupted in whispers.

"Isn't this Karen's birthday party? Who would dare arrange such a dangerous scheme? Do they have a death wish?"

"Could she be making this up? Didn't we just hear about her scanuaious affairs online recently?"

"Maybe it's all staged to secure her position as Mrs. Raymond."

Judith quickly joined in: "That's right! Ella, how could you do this? I was worried you might be in danger, so I brought help. I never imagined you'd be so calculating. I don't want to compete with you for Austin. If you love him, I can step aside."

In just a few sentences, she had twisted the situation to cast suspicion on Ella.

Ella laughed coldly. "Is that so? Then let's ask the server who's still unconscious inside. The truth will be clear once we know who sent him."

Judith's expression tightened with anxiety, and she clutched Austin's hand.

Fortunately for her, she managed to control her racing heart and maintain a calm exterior.

With an upturned gaze, she said. "Ella, just admit it. Austin won't be truly angry with you."

"Why would I admit to something I didn't do?"

Ella strode purposefully toward the storage room.

The crowd parted, creating a path for her.

She forcefully pulled Judith away from Austin and entered the room with determination.

Without hesitation, she planted her foot firmly on the unconscious server's

The crowd gasped collectively.

Her boldness was shocking.

Little did Ella know that this action would soon become infamous within high society circles.

The server on the floor woke with a start, cold sweat beading on his forehead as he clutched his groin and writhed in pain.

Perhaps due to the drug's lingering effects, he alternated between expressions of pain and inappropriate moaning sounds.

Ella crouched down and stared intently at him. "Tell me who's behind this, and I'll let you go. Otherwise, I'll make sure you never function as a man again."

She deliberately looked at the syringe, which still contained some of the drug, and began to press down on the plunger.

The server clearly understood what the drug could do.

As she injected a tiny amount, his reaction was immediate and alarming.

He began unbuttoning his shirt compulsively while experiencing a bizarre combination of pain and pleasure, like being on an extreme roller coaster ride.

"Ella, you're being cruel. He's just a server," Judith intervened nervously.afraid her plan would be exposed.

Ella shot her a cold look. "I'm curious how this server got access to this type of drug. Remember when the housekeeper Yasmin and the gynecology director at Peaceful Wellness Clinic embezzled money from the

Raymond accounts? You seemed equally anxious then."

"Are all these just coincidences?" she asked pointedly.

With that single question, Judith became the center of suspicious stares.

Panicking, she began to cry. "It wasn't me! I was just trying to help.Ella.how can you accuse me like this? What possible reason would I have to hurt you? How would that benefit me?"

"Haven't you been coveting marrying Authin?" Ella responded icily.
