Chapter 355: Chapter 355

Isabella looked up at Arthur with worry in her eyes. “The Rosalia Pink Diamond is much harder than the original material. I’m concerned it might fracture during the fusion process.”

Arthur paused thoughtfully before replying. “Mix some nephrite powder into the adhesive. Its flexibility could help absorb the stress from the difference in hardness.”

Following his advice, Isabella carefully combined the nephrite powder with the adhesive until the consistency was perfect.

She dipped a delicate brush into the mixture and began attaching the diamond fragments to the damaged areas of the Eternal Promise piece.

Time seemed to stretch as both of them remained completely focused on the intricate work.

“Mr. Bennett, the adhesive is setting slower than expected,” Isabella noted with a hint of concern.

Arthur walked over to the thermostat, considering the issue. “The room temperature might be too low. That could be delaying the process.”

He adjusted the settings slightly. “We’ll need to wait a bit longer.”

The waiting felt endless.

Anxious expressions covered their faces as they watched the adhesive, fearing something might go wrong.

Slowly, the adhesive began to harden, securing the diamond fragments firmly to the Eternal Promise necklace.

“It’s finished!” Arthur exclaimed, slapping his knee enthusiastically.

Isabella let out a deep sigh as the tension finally left her body.

She rubbed her tired eyes and gazed at the perfectly restored piece. “It’s absolutely stunning.”

Arthur lifted the necklace toward the light, examining every angle carefully.

He set it down gently and turned to Isabella, curiosity evident in his expression. “How did you manage to find the Rosalia Pink Diamond, Isabella? It’s exceptionally rare. Almost never appears on the market.”

Isabella hesitated briefly. “A jeweler reached out to me. He said he had one and asked if I was interested.”

“Which jeweler was it?” Arthur pressed.

“It was… Tiffany & Co.,” Isabella answered before describing the purchase in detail.

Arthur’s expression turned serious, his brows furrowing.

“That’s a subsidiary of Blackwood Enterprises, isn’t it?”

A chill ran through Isabella. Her heart dropped.

The mention of Blackwood Enterprises made her think of Ethan. Was it possible?

Her breathing quickened. Her thoughts spun wildly.

Arthur observed her reaction, his own suspicions growing. His tone was measured. “You acquired an incredibly rare diamond at a surprisingly low price from a jeweler connected to Blackwood Enterprises. Doesn’t that seem arranged to you, Isabella?”

Realization washed over her. Isabella paled. Her lips trembled, but no words came out.
