Liam's cutting words still echoed through the tense air.
"She's just some boring housewife who only knows how to cook. Why are you defending her like she's special? Even our maid can do what she does. If you think she's so amazing, you can have her as your mother. Victoria is way better anyway—I'd be embarrassed to call someone like her my mom."
The teachers who once considered Liam well-mannered now regarded him with new eyes. Their gazes darkened with disapproval as they exchanged silent glances.
Liam's mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water, his cheeks burning with humiliation. He had no defense. His wide, desperate eyes locked onto Amy.
Amy's lashes lowered, veiling her emotions as the video abruptly cut to black.
A suffocating silence settled over the room.
But Victoria's lips curled in barely concealed triumph. Perfect. Every bitter exchange between Amy and Liam, every crack in their relationship, was another step toward her goal.
Amy calmly closed the screen share. "Since Oliver's phone has nothing else to show, we'll be leaving now." She took Oliver's small hand and turned toward the door.
Oliver followed silently, his quiet obedience tugging at the teachers' hearts.
The staff watched them go with pity. A child without a mother, and a woman rejected by her own husband and son—what a tragic pair.
Just as they reached the exit, a deep voice cut through the tension. "Wait."
Amy turned, her expression unreadable. "Yes?"
Her face was a mask of calm detachment, as if none of this concerned her.
Alexander's gaze was sharp. "Don't you find these two videos suspiciously convenient?"
"Convenient?"
His piercing stare shifted to Oliver.
"Out of everything on his phone, these two clips just happen to make Liam look terrible—especially the last one. It almost seems... intentional."
Amy's eyes narrowed. "Are you seriously suggesting a five-year-old orchestrated this?"
"Isn't it possible?" Alexander countered.
The room held its breath.
Amy stiffened. "Alexander, you're accusing a child now?"
His cold eyes remained fixed on Oliver.
"Have you not noticed? Ever since he came into your life, the distance between you and Liam has only grown."
Sensing Oliver's discomfort, Amy stepped between them, shielding him.
"And whose fault is that, Mr. Blackwood? Are you really going to defend your lover by blaming a child? How low will you go?"
"Blaming?" Alexander's laugh was humorless. "So you don't believe Liam when he says he's being bullied?"
"Not particularly," Amy said icily. "After all, he's made it clear I'm not his mother. Hating Oliver and telling a few lies isn't much of a stretch, is it?"
Alexander's expression darkened. "Is that really what you think of our son?"
