"They've done an excellent job covering their tracks... Even if we take this to the police, how would they identify the culprits?"
Amy, however, remained unfazed. "No matter how carefully they hid their identities, the police have ways to uncover the truth."
She pointed at a figure on the screen.
"Samantha, doesn’t this person’s build resemble Nathan?"
Samantha leaned closer, studying the footage before nodding.
"You’re right. That walk—it’s unmistakably Nathan."
No matter how much someone tries to conceal themselves, their habits always betray them.
Especially someone like Nathan—the entitled heir—who couldn’t suppress his arrogance if he tried.
Samantha had encountered Nathan enough times to recognize his signature strut in the surveillance footage.
She frowned in disbelief. "He could’ve sent someone else. Why risk showing up himself?"
Amy smirked. "Maybe he wanted to do it personally—get his revenge firsthand."
Samantha’s eyes widened. "That makes sense. After everything you’ve put him through—especially that humiliating arrest—he’s probably seething with rage."
It wasn’t surprising Nathan would want to wreck Amy’s studio himself, just to feel some semblance of control.
As they watched, Nathan’s furious voice erupted from the recording.
"Destroy it all! Leave nothing intact!"
Samantha winced. Anyone familiar with Nathan would recognize that voice instantly.
She shook her head in exasperation. "Seriously? He remembered to cover his face but completely forgot to disguise his voice?"
Samantha glanced at Amy. "Celeste, what’s the plan?"
"With an ally this incompetent, I almost feel bad for Victoria and Alexander," Amy said, her lips curling into a sly smile.
She paused, then continued, "Let’s upload this online. The internet detectives will have a field day. They’re better at solving mysteries than most professionals. They’ll uncover the truth in no time."
Samantha’s eyes sparkled with excitement. "Brilliant!"
Amy and Samantha didn’t bother lowering their voices around Isabella. Listening in, Isabella pieced together what was happening.
So, they had crossed the wrong people too.
But unlike her, they weren’t running. They were fighting back—boldly and without hesitation.
For reasons she couldn’t explain, Isabella’s numb heart stirred with anticipation.
Something told her life with these two would never be dull again.
Amy was now a prominent influencer.
Within an hour of posting the video, it skyrocketed to the top of the trending list.
Of course, Nathan saw it too.
He burst out laughing. "She’s crowdsourcing clues online? Too bad the cameras were destroyed. She can beg for help all she wants—it won’t do her any good."
He scrolled through the images of Amy’s vandalized studio, each one fueling his satisfaction.
It felt like all the humiliation Amy had inflicted on him was finally being repaid.
Just as he was reveling in his triumph, his phone rang.
He checked the caller ID and answered cheerfully, "Alex, did you find Celeste?"
Alexander’s voice was icy. "Go to Amy immediately. Find out what it’ll take for her to remove that video from the trending list."
