Chapter 132: Chapter 132

Jenna quickly pressed send, forwarding the license plate number to Officer Hill.

"Officer Hill said he'll look into it." She pocketed her phone, brows slightly furrowed.

Milo grabbed her wrist. "Jenna, what's going on?"

"A car's been following me since last week." She pulled her hand free. "Twice now. I only lost them by driving to the police station."

Milo's face paled. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"What could you have done?" Jenna glanced at her younger brother's slender frame.

"I could've picked you up!" His voice rose an octave.

Jenna shook her head. "You have classes."

"That doesn't mean you should take risks alone!" Milo clenched his fists. "What good will a license plate number do?"

"At least we'll know who's behind this." Her eyes turned icy. "I bet Sophia's involved."

"Sophia?" Milo looked confused.

Jenna gave him a quick rundown of their feud.

"That witch!" Milo kicked the tire in frustration. "Why can't she fight fair?"

"If she had the guts for a direct confrontation, things would be simpler." Jenna smirked.

An hour later, their taxi stopped at a Malibu beach house.

Milo gaped at the ornate wrought-iron gates. "Damn, sis. Your brother-in-law must be loaded."

Jenna pressed the doorbell. "Behave yourself inside."

A kindly housekeeper answered. "Miss Roland?" Nanny Florence ushered them in. "The master has been expecting you."

The living room was spacious enough for badminton. Crystal chandeliers dazzled overhead.

Milo sank into the buttery leather couch, whispering, "This place costs a fortune..."

"Study hard and you might afford it someday." Jenna flicked his forehead.

Rubbing his head, Milo grinned. "Books won't cut it. I need to go into business!"

"You'll need startup capital first." Jenna glanced around when footsteps echoed from the staircase.
