Chapter 266: Chapter 266

Jenna Roland suddenly shivered.

Had she actually married a pervert?

Milo Roland rubbed his eyes as he emerged from the bedroom, finding his sister frozen outside the master bedroom door.

"Sis, what are you doing here?"

Jenna snapped back to reality, instinctively touching her itchy forehead.

"Breakfast is ready. Go wash up first."

Milo nodded, his gaze lingering on the master bedroom door for a second before heading to the bathroom.

Sunflowers stood in a vase on the dining table, their bright yellow petals glaring under the morning light.

Jenna stared at the flowers, reminded of Ethan Roscente's bizarre behavior earlier.

Too yellow.

Her eyes widened suddenly.

They'd shared a bed last night. Had that creep done something to her?

Ethan stepped out of the bedroom in his impeccable suit, brushing past her without a word.

He waited a full two minutes outside the bathroom door.

"Good morning, Mr. Roscente," Milo greeted politely when he came out.

Ethan didn't even glance up before shutting the bathroom door behind him.

"Sis, what's wrong with Mr. Roscente today?" Milo whispered as he sat down.

Jenna bit into her toast.

Of course he's in a bad mood—getting caught red-handed as a pervert.

"No idea," she muttered.

Ethan finished his morning routine and began eating in silence.

Jenna's eyes kept darting to his face.

"Had enough?" Ethan abruptly set down his fork.

Jenna twisted her fingers together, her voice shrinking. "Last night...you didn't...you know..."

Ethan smirked coldly. "You're not my type."

The dining room emptied until only they remained.

"So you really didn't touch me?" Jenna's eyes rounded.

Ethan continued slicing his omelet with elegant precision, not bothering to respond.

Jenna poked at her oatmeal, mumbling, "I thought you weren't coming back, that's why I slept there...You could've woken me..."

"I tried." Ethan didn't look up. "You slept like a log."

"That's a lie!" Jenna slammed her palms on the table. "I'm a light sleeper!"

Ethan wiped his mouth and stood. "Believe what you want."
