Chapter 180: Chapter 180

A deep blush instantly spread across Evelyn's cheeks.

A soft gasp escaped her lips.

She stared at Alexander, utterly speechless.

Her mind was spinning, struggling to process the reality.

She had slept with Alexander last night.

The thought hung heavily between them, unspoken but undeniable.

Why did she have to drink so much?

Despite the overwhelming evidence, Evelyn found it hard to believe.

It felt like a surreal, distant nightmare.

Her voice was shaky when she finally spoke. "Alexander," she whispered. "Last night... what exactly happened?"

Alexander's eyes narrowed slightly.

A flash of frustration crossed his handsome face.

"Evelyn," he said, his tone laced with disbelief. "You don't remember? Again? You don't even remember this?"

Evelyn bit her lower lip, a wave of shame washing over her.

"I truly don't," she admitted, her voice barely audible. "That's why I'm asking you to tell me."

She paused, trying desperately to gather the fragments of her memory.

"I remember going to the dinner party," she continued. "I had a little to drink—just one glass. And then... everything goes blank."

Alexander leaned closer, his voice low and deliberate.

"After you got drunk, Evelyn, you clung to me. You wouldn't let go. You teased me relentlessly. You demanded I become your boyfriend. You even started talking about having children with me."

Evelyn's eyes widened in pure horror.

Her face burned with intense embarrassment.

She couldn't believe she had acted so shamelessly, so outrageously.

She wished the ground would open up and swallow her whole.

"I brought you home," Alexander continued, his voice steady and firm. "But you refused to let me leave. You used my tie to tie me up. You insisted on taking full control."

A faint glimmer of amusement shone in his eyes.

He seemed to be secretly enjoying her profound discomfort.

Evelyn was mortified. "I did all that?" she whispered, filled with disbelief. "I was that out of control?"

Had the stress from work and sheer exhaustion really driven her to such extremes?

A vague memory flickered in her mind—a silk tie, expertly knotted...

Evelyn wanted to protest, to declare her innocence.

But then her eyes fell on the evidence marking Alexander's body.

The faint scratches on his chest.

The red marks on his wrists where she had bound him.

Her resolve instantly crumbled.

Alexander's gaze locked with hers, his expression unreadable.

"You truly don't remember any of it?" he asked, his voice low and steady.

Evelyn desperately tried to recall the events of the previous night.

But her mind only offered fragmented images, fleeting glimpses of a lost reality.

Then, a chilling thought struck her.

If she hadn't initiated it, how could they have been intimate, given Alexander's limited mobility?

The realization filled her with a powerful wave of self-disgust.

She must have been utterly shameless, completely uninhibited by the alcohol.

She must have taken advantage of him in his vulnerable state.

Evelyn felt a wave of nausea.

How could she have been so cruel?

It should have been a mutual decision.

For a long moment, Evelyn found it impossible to meet his gaze.

After a brief pause, she took a deep breath.

She gathered her courage and spoke earnestly. "Don't worry. Even though my memory is unclear, I won't shy away from this. I will make it up to you."

Alexander's initial anxiety melted away upon hearing her words.

He had expected Evelyn to be upset, perhaps even distraught.

Her unexpected reaction caught him completely off guard.

He found the situation rather amusing.

"Tell me," he said, his voice steady but with a playful lilt. "How exactly do you plan to make it up to me? Evelyn, you were quite unrestrained last night. I couldn't rein you in at all."

"Okay, okay!" Evelyn squeezed her eyes shut, overwhelmed by embarrassment.

Then, regaining her composure, she declared, "Just tell me what you want me to do, and I'll do it."
