Thalia's eyes widened as she yelled at the security guard. "What do you mean? Why are you kicking us out?"

The security guard frowned, "The awner of this house told us to. If you don't leave,we'll call the cops."

"Owner?" Thalia was furious. "This is my son-in-law's house!"

Despite Thalia's tantrum and attempts to resist, the security guards dutifully threw their luggage out onto the street.

Fuming. Thalia called Lydia and found out the house now belonged to Wendy.

Lydia, while frantically booking a hotel and trying to keep her anger in check,reassured her, "Mom, Ethan already gave the house to Wendy.I'll have Ethan find you another place to stay."

"Bullshit! Why give it to Wendy? What does he think of you?"

"Mom, Ethan just felt sorry for her because she doesn't have a job and has a low education. He wanted to get the divorce over with quickly,so he gave her more to get rid of her."

Thalia asked suspiciously, "Ethan isn't still hung up on his ex-wife, is he?"

Lydia laughed, "Mom, of course not. Wendy is just a housewife.There's no way Ethan would still care about her."

"That's more like it. But we can't just let this house thing go!" Thalia dismissed Lydia and immediately called Juniper.

When Juniper heard that Wendy had taken a villa. she furiously dialed Wendy's number.

But Wendy had already blocked her.

Frustrated and unable to vent her anger on Ethan,Juniper called Sarah to complain.

"Yes, I'm crazy!" Sarah sneered. "She took our villa, and before the divorce is even finalized, she's already flirting with you. What else is she if not a bitch?"

People around them started pointing and whispering.

"She looks so refined, but she's cheating."

"And they're both doctors. How disgraceful."

"Young women these days are getting more and more shameless."

The disdainful looks from the crowd didn't anger Wendy. She had been called worse by Sarah and Juniper many times before.

Still in her internship, she didn't want to argue with Sarah in public. She took out a tissue to wipe the oil and soup off her body and was about to

head to the locker room to change into a clean lab coat.

Wendy looked at Sarah, her voice cold, "Sarah, our hospital's mission is to save lives. Having someone like you here is a disgrace."

"What did you say?" Sarah's face stiffened, then she became furious,pointing a finger at Wendy's nose.

"You bitch, who are you to lecture me? Do you even know your place?What does the hospitaI's mission have to do with you?"

Wendy was getting annoyed with her pestering. She casually took out her work ID and flashed it in front of Sarah. "Take a good look. I work here."

Sarah didn't see her position clearly, shocked that Wendy could still work at Blue Ridge Medical Center.

Then she sneered. "Someone like you, with no education or skills,can only clean toilets here, right? Wendy, you can't live without Ethan,can you?Coming here to clean toilets, well, it makes sense. If it weren't for marrying Ethan,cleaning toilets would have been your destiny anyway."

Michael wanted to defend Wendy, but she stopped him. She didn't want him involved in their mess.

Wendy didn't care about Sarah's provocations, but seeing the time,she didn't want to be late for work after lunch.

Her voice turned cold and impatient. "Sarah. I have nothing to do with Ethan anymore. You don't need to find any superiority here. So stop pestering me like a bug!"

"You!" Sarah was furious at Wendy's reprimand.
